Modeling Interventions to Improve Access to Public Health Information
The goal of this research project is to provide Public Health professionals and policy makers with improved access to the Grey Literature reporting on Public Health Interventions by utilizing Natural Language Processing to provide a universally accessible web-site for searching, summarization, navigation and visualization.
Reports concerning public health interventions are frequently not available through commercial publishers. Such reports are increasingly placed on the Internet but are poorly organized and difficult to access. Efficiency of access and organization of this literature is critical to enable PH professionals to build on the activities of others.
This research was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
